But, as an official sponsor, Powerade wanted to remind young footballers about the millions of other games going on around the globe, and show them that every game matters, no matter where it's played. Part of a series celebrating these other matches, Nico tells the inspirational true story of Nicolai Calabria, a boy born with only one leg but more determination than most teams put together. Crafted from genuine home footage and new live action, the film follows Nico as he grows up and defies expectations to become a leading player.
