The V Motion Project

In April 2012, V Energy Drink assembled a team and challenged them to create apiece of music using only the body’s movement. ‘The V Motion Project’ was born. The team developed a piece of technology, combining motion tracking and audio production software, to transform the body’s movements into sounds. On 16 June, The V Motion Project showcased the new technology with an unexpected live event in downtown Auckland. The entire project was filmed to create a series of webisodes, TV ads and a music video. The project culminated in a number one hit single on iTunes.
