The Nation's Bike

The naval warship, INS Vikrant, was India’s first aircraft carrier. She played a decisive role in the historic 1971 Indo-Pak war. However, in 2014, the government made a decision to send this legendary warship to the scrapyard. This is when Bajaj Auto stepped in and procured INS Vikrant’s scrap metal, forged it and gave it a new life, in the form of a new motorcycle- the Bajaj V. Today, the spirit of the invincible INS Vikrant lives on through the Bajaj V, giving every Indian an opportunity to own a symbol of national pride. Making it well and truly the nation’s bike.
