The Massacre of Kingdom

Netflix Kingdom is a series that clashes Joseon-era Korea with a plague of the undead. To create hype around Halloween, Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo told the Kingdom story as real history. A three-story museum was constructed in Seoul’s cultural district, using craft techniques authentic to the period to create intricate and gory artefacts. A 360 experience, mockumentary, and social posts caught the attention of cultural, mainstream and entertainment press, selling out the event twice and driving hoards of new viewers to experience Kingdom on Netflix.
