The Handmade Issue

Over the last five years, Wallpaper* Handmade has developed from a groundbreaking exhibition at Milan's Salone del Mobile into a global phenomenon. Since its launch, Wallpaper* has commissioned 562 collaborators from 48 countries to produce 361 one-of-a-kind products. The challenge for the August 2014 issue was to celebrate the brand's biggest undertaking with appropriate depth and style. The print issue documented every detail of the design and production processes used to produce Handmade's furnishings, fittings, fashion and foodstuffs.
