The Drawbridge is a quarterly magazine of new writing in the guise of a 12-page broadsheet. The format is an antidote to the conventions of the literary magazine and a reaction against the downsizing of the contemporary newspaper. The 40 x 57cm page provides a generous canvas for drawing, photography and artworks, each responding to the theme of the particular issue.
