Sociotype Journal, Issue 3 – Home

Sociotype Journal is the type specimen for designers who like to read. We strongly believe that if it’s not starting conversations or spreading new ideas, typography isn’t living up to its purpose. That’s why, instead of creating specimens with the customary dummy copy, we started the Journal, as a space for original thoughts on culture and society. Each issue explores a single theme inspired by (and typeset in) a single type family from Sociotype. Issue 3, titled ‘Home’, is both typographically more experimental and, at over 35,000 words, far denser and more politically engaged than before.
