Shotaro Takizawa: MOVE into the wildlife!

Nowadays many serious problems occur around the world: extinction, poaching and global warming. The number of endangered species on Japan’s Red List is 3,634 species in total as of 2017. Almost everyone is apathetic about this because we are usually not connected with animal life. Kodansha's encyclopedia "MOVE" regards raising interests in animal life as their key mission. Biodiversity is more valued nowadays, but usual encyclopedia can hardly make children get interested in biodiversity. Our project team aims for children to develop the relationship between children and animals.
