Shameless, Series 3

The dysfunctional Gallagher family from the drama series Shameless are featured breaking into a warehouse. A voiceover artist introduces the third series of Shameless and delivers the transmission details with the standard Channel 4 end page branding. Instead of the promotion ending, as Channel 4 viewers would expect, they realise that the Gallaghers have broken into a pitch-black warehouse where the branding is stored. Viewers and the Gallaghers quickly realise that these graphics are not computer generated but cheaply made three-dimensional objects. Frank Gallagher is disgusted by this fact yet steals the ‘4’ logo anyway while his children steal the transmission details to sell at their local pub. The promotion ends with Carl stealing the camera that is filming the whole scene, which results in total loss of picture.
