Sensing Spaces
Sensing Spaces
The 2014 Royal Academy of Arts exhibition Sensing Spaces featured installations by a range of established and emerging architects. It aimed to evoke the experience of contemporary architecture within a neoclassical environment. The sets, furniture, walls and lighting colours were designed by SHSH to provide information on the architects' installations. Ethereal translucent textile layers supported digital projections in the octagonal Central Hall of Burlington House, fading the area's classical elements and turning it into abstract space.
