Pointless Things to Collect: Books
Pointless Things to Collect: Books
If you let Erik Penser collect money for you, you will gain the time, and money, to collect other things. The respected Erik Penser brokerage firm in Sweden collects something meaningful for its exclusive customers: money. To clarify this service for institutions and investors, a series of monographs were created, focusing on pointless things to collect. The cloth-bound tomes are printed in a numbered edition of 999 copies and published twice yearly. Volume one is on rare books. As well as detailing the pitfalls and mistakes made in building a collection, it proposes more or less sophisticated ranges of subject matter, and describes an exquisite, exemplary collection of ornithology books spanning five centuries.
