Pearl GTL Interactive Model

An interactive experience to highlight Shell innovation in gas-to-liquids technology at the inauguration of the Shell Pearl GTL plant in Qatar, the crowning achievement of Shell & QP partnership. A 4.5m scale model expresses the impressive size of the facility, the largest of its kind worldwide. A total of 1,600 Perspex blocks represent various technologies within the plant. Beneath these, 15 LCD screens play high-definition animations describing the GTL process. Twelve touchscreens surround the model presenting films and animations, helping audiences to explore the plant story, its products and its people.
