Orchestre de Paris 2010/11 Season Brochure

Orchestre de Paris is a renowned orchestra based in the heart of Paris with a rich history of world-class conductors. For the redesign of its season brochure, we were asked to acknowledge this heritage while also appealing to a younger, more diverse local audience. We used Hoefler & Frere-Jones’s modern revival of the iconic typeface Didot for its historical context and scaling feature, which allowed us to use it expressively throughout while maintaining a relative consistency in the serif weight. This detail aimed to express a sense of the precision, craft and passion evident in the performances.
