These opening titles were created for Node Fest, Australia’s premier motion design conference. We wanted to tell a story that resonated with the audience while using visuals and animation to delight and inspire. Our story follows a character navigating the chaotic R&D process, with their state of mind being visualised through a 'brain cam'. Their experiments spiral into madness before reaching a breakthrough; letting go of overcomplicated ideas to embrace a simpler, earlier design with fresh clarity. This highlights the value of recognising when simplicity holds more strength than complexity.
