My Thread – New Dutch Design on Films

An exhibition for showcasing 8 young Dutch designers, composed from a lot of movies focused on the designers' works. For making an space in that people can see videos clearly and comfortably on top floor of old building without air conditioning in hot humid summer, 1,200 m² horizontal light shield was made to ensure proper airflow for cooling. The audience enjoyed the videos through several holes created on the sheet. The shield also made a unique experience for people, moving through and feel two very different spatial qualities at one time, which is an experience of going under the water.
