Our aim was to engage the audience at TEDx Sydney during the interval and bring to life the event’s theme – Real. Live. Now. ‘Mimeisthai’ is the world’s first spoken word trending engine. Think Twitter, without a mobile device; all you needto do to trend a topic, is speak. We turned the TEDx theatre into a giant, real-time emerging topics trending engine by capturing conversations taking place amongst the audience. They were brought to life as graphic art on the main screen via an algorithm, visualising the spread of ideas in the room.
