Little White Lies 49 – The Blue Jasmine Issue

We wanted to create an issue of Little White Lies which – visually, thematically and emotionally – encapsulated the spirit of Woody Allen's film, Blue Jasmine. Our aim was to make a movie magazine (generally the preserve of an exclusively male audience) which appealed to women. Content celebrating Allen's female characters, a female cover star (Cate Blanchett illustrated by Kelly Thompson), interviews with as many female as male directors and movie stars, plus ornate, hand-drawn designs and illustration all combined to make The Blue Jasmine issue of Little White Lies.
