Les Lettres de Krakovie

It's a story about a young boy and three women find themselves snowed during winter in a large country house. A newcomer will gradually change the boy's perspectives. Lines are fine, almost imperceptible, giving characters the appearance of ghostly masses of colour moving through detailed settings. There’s a distinct expressionist approach:outline around characters varies according to the emotional intensity. The camera contrasts and mimics human vision with its perspective distortions. Positioned at eye level, with a consistently plausible viewpoint, avoiding extreme angles or movements.
