Lea Bridge Library Extension

The extension to Grade-II listed Lea Bridge Library included a new cafe and community space connected to the library’s gardens, reviving the civic heart of the Borough of Waltham Forest. The project addresses the changing role of modern civic infrastructure. While the library offers access to a wealth of private knowledge, the extension creates an open public space for the community to share experiences. Designs were also developed for the rejuvenation of the garden, further improving what the space had to offer.
