Kanazawa ADC Annual

The 2024 Kanazawa ADC annual was created in the aftermath of the Noto Peninsula earthquake and the torrential rains in Oku-Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It brings together the work of regional art directors with landscapes marked by devastation and recovery. In Hokuriku, a region known for limited sunlight, frequent rain and long winters, a blue sky carries unusual emotional force. By layering the KADC mark over photographs of Noto’s sky and landscape, the book becomes both a record of the present and a quiet meditation on resilience, memory and time.
