Invisible to Society shows the daily suffering of neglected children in Germany. At home, they are alone and unsupervised. In the outside world, they are ignored and overlooked by society. They feel invisible – and the film shows their pain. Starting with barely noticeable translucency, the children grow more and more invisible until the drastic ending, when they disappear completely.
