Hellstrøm Juleaquavit
Hellstrøm Juleaquavit
Ancient history saw farmers use perpetual calendars to remember festivities and organise work in the fields. These calendars were flat wooden sticks with illustrations carved into each side, one for winter and one for summer. The 2014 Hellstrøm Juleaquavit bottle takes inspiration from the Norwegian perpetual calendar, with primitive but festive drawings that celebrate a time when people were more connected to nature and the seasons. The bottle is decorated with the symbols of winter.
