Goodnight Developers

Apple applauds the hard work of its developers in a black-and-white film that traces their long days and late nights - as well as the joy of hard-won success. The director, Derek Cianfrance, opted for a cast of non-actors and an observant filmmaking approach, rather than a storyboarded one. This meant 20 hours of rushes had to be edited within a week - reflecting the film’s own focus on tight deadlines and dedication to the project at hand.
