FUKT Magazine #23 The Sound Issue

FUKT #23 explores the relationship between sound and drawing. How can a drawing capture rhythm, voice, or noise? The cover design extends this exploration into the physical realm. Inspired by so-called “musical roads,” where patterned grooves generate tones through friction by cars that drive over, the cover features finely tuned line patterns varnished onto both front and back. When scratched, the embossed varnish produces subtle tonal variations depending on line spacing, transforming the magazine into an instrument.
