Fredrik Værslev – As I Imagine Him

As part of our ongoing collaboration with Astrup Fearnley Museet, we worked with Norwegian artist Fredrik Værslev on the visual identity and catalogue for his exhibition 'Fredrik Værslev as I Imagine Him'. Our design for the campaign and publication expands on Værslev’s techniques by digitally extracting his painted gestures. Serving as an extension of the exhibition, the catalogue contextualises the work through coloured images, a visual index featuring monochrome photocopies of individual patterns as well as selected essays by the curators and others.
