Devil's Chair

Assembly was approached by advertising agency FCB in Auckland, New Zealand, to create a fully 3D animated commercial for local insurance providers NZI. The story centers around an evil chair that seems to force bad luck on anyone in its possession. This rich, realistic style of animation is seldom seen in New Zealand and the Assembly team with FCB and NZI, worked to create a world that would be locally recognized on a colloquial level, while still having an international reach and appeal. Assembly has created a world that the client can own, a style that will become synonymous with their brand.
