Cry Like a Ghost

For Passion Pit’s “Cry Like a Ghost”, DANIELS have crafted a visceral narrative surrounding one girl’s self-destructive behavior. Torn between her lovers, the girl is in great danger of spiraling out of control. To augment her story, the directors have invented a visual language that combines dance, hidden edits, and complex staging. The resulting effect is that the video seems to blur the boundaries of time and space-at times, even, it seems in danger of spinning out of control itself.
