Corpoetics

Corpoetics is a collection of found corporate poetry created by rearranging the text from company websites and mission statements. The results range from limericks and haikus to ballads and syllabics, often playfully subverting their source material. Designed to promote the writing side of a new creative partnership, the project demonstrates the ability of the writer to work within the tightest restrictions, unlocking creativity in even the least promising material. Originally sent out as a mailer including a postcard reinterpreting the writer’s own homepage, copies were then sold online, with proceeds going to the National Literacy Trust.
