Bokšto Skveras, Vilnius

Bokšto Skveras has gone from being a disused 15th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site to being a vibrant, multifaceted quarter of Vilnius. The development involved repairing and preserving the rich history of the buildings and public realm, while introducing fresh and contemporary architectural ideas. The site, Bokśto 6, was a dilapidated walled city block of six historic buildings that surrounded a series of irregular-shaped courtyards. These include the former Savičius Hospital and St Elizabeth Chapel, a historic church of old Vilnius, which had been lost over time.
