Adelaide Festival Barrio Illustration

Barrio, the night time venue for the 2012 Adelaide Festival of Arts, created a giant shanty town in the city centre. Mash worked to conceive a brand that would bring an instant makeshift community to the streets of Adelaide. The brand needed to capture all walks of life and help occupy a space that would change on a daily basis. Each element within the illustration refers to the acts, themes and stalls within the shanty barrio town. The illustration shows how as a whole, it seems like a big mess, but together it makes for beautiful chaos.
