8 Magazine

This is a professionally designed high-class magazine with a double use: it announces a festival for fashion and photography; and it is a special-interest magazine for Austrian fashion design and fashion photography.The challenge was to create a medium for three genres: fashion magazine, programme information and special interest magazine. The outcome was a 56-page journal, based on an elaborate graphic concept, that merges the genres by providing each of them with a specific area for presentation. By following the structure the reader is led through the festival magazine – without mistaking it for a standard programme brochure.
