  • Chief Creator Officer
  • United States

Ashley, a distinguished 12-time award-winning creative and the 2023 Adage Leading Woman Honoree, holds the inaugural Global Chief Creator Officer title at the renowned creator company, Whalar. Central to Whalar's ethos are its creators, and Ashley ensures they are championed at every stage—from brand interactions and fair compensation to maintaining an authentic human connection throughout their journey.

In her dynamic role, Ashley not only masterfully combines creative direction and social anthropology but, as a creator herself, stands as a subject matter expert in the creator economy. Recognized as a catalyst for change, she collaborates with Whalar's top-tier brand clientele, consistently aiming to innovate, assess, and optimize campaign performance.

With over fifteen years in digital branding, Ashley's prowess in amplifying brand visibility through strategic engagement is unparalleled. She's been instrumental in spotlighting emerging creators, strengthening consumer allegiance, and orchestrating standout campaigns within the Creator Economy. A testament to her expertise is her pivotal role in Martha Stewart’s unforgettable TikTok debut for Clé de Peau Beaute—a campaign that garnered significant accolades at the Campaign BIG Awards, Streamy Awards, The Drum Social Media Awards, PR Daily Content Marketing Awards, and CMA International Content Marketing Awards in both 2022 and 2023.

Before making her mark at Whalar, Ashley served as the Assistant Vice President of Strategy and Content at Lashify, leading the charge in digital content strategies and production across varied platforms. Earlier in her career, she elevated M·A·C Cosmetics' digital footprint on global social platforms. Guided by Ashley, M·A·C became the pioneer beauty brand to debut on IGTV, introducing platform-specific vertical videos, thus setting an industry benchmark on Instagram. Over her two-decade-long association with M·A·C, Ashley transitioned through diverse roles: from a Senior Artist defining makeup trends at premier global fashion events to the Director of Digital Content and Artistry. Additionally, she co-founded Haus of SÔS, a bi-coastal creative powerhouse with a specialization in digital media and visual branding.

Ashley's incisive creative instincts, coupled with her deep insight into market trends and consumer behavior, firmly establish her as a luminary in the creator economy. Renowned platforms such as BuzzFeed, Vogue.com, and Refinery29 have featured her invaluable insights on beauty marketing, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

A proud alumna of Northwood University, Ashley cherishes her life in LA, where she resides with her devoted husband and daughter.
