As a partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements, Toyota created a message connecting the brand’s mobility vision of an inclusive, barrier-free world. Jessica Long's story demonstrates that when a person is free to move, anything is possible. Upstream follows the story of Long – a Team Toyota athlete born with fibular hemimelia – from being in an orphanage to getting adopted into a loving family who support her journey of becoming a successful Paralympic swimmer. The spot launched at the Super Bowl 2021 and received glowing reception on major media outlets and social media.
