With the death of beloved character JR Ewing in the second season of the TNT drama Dallas, the third season had to make an impact. Grey New York showcased the power of the world's most powerful fictional oil family by bringing their product into the real world. Grey completely transformed an existing New York City gas station into Ewing Energies. The Texas oil barons undercut competitors by selling gas at a fraction of the going rate. The stunt led to eight city blocks of gridlocked traffic, over 300 million media impressions and one of the highest rated TNT premieres ever.
