OBJECTIVE: Own, and create excitement for, baseball. In turn, positioning Dick’s Sporting Goods as the industry expert on the game. EXECUTION: We wanted to shatter the growing misconception that baseball is boring. Which lead us to take a closer look at what average observers believe to be the dullest aspect of the game – the time between pitches – where true ballplayers understand an intricately strategic and important phase to exist. Which is exactly why we made EVERY PITCH, because when the ball is not in play, the game of baseball is still very much being played.
