London Symphony Orchestra – LSO Play

During the London Symphony Orchestra’s Barbican season, the performance of Ravel’s ‘Bolero’ was filmed in High Definition with a number of cameras recording from different angles. Our website gives users control over all these cameras, through a usable interface, offering up to four different views of the orchestra at a time. Users can get up close to different instrumental sections and observe the conductor from the musicians’ point of view. A graphic representation of the orchestra also acts as an interface allowing users to view video masterclasses and to find out more about the musicians and their instruments.
