Nordic is an Oslo-based architectural practice. We created a new visual identity to put a flag in the ground for this office as an industry leader in and of this region. Nordic means ‘to be of or related to the north or northern lands’. The new identity centres on the north arrow. It is bold in form, reliably consistent and with a behavioural bias towards the top or the‘northern’ edge of any space it inhabits. Every other visual element relates to or aligns with this central marker whilst its matter-of-fact black and white colour palette is complemented by energetic flashes of aurora green.
