To promote a browser to people immune to banners, we created Chrome FastBall, a race across the internet. This first YouTube game of its kind showed how the web is faster and easier with Google Chrome. Over one million visitors moved a ball through our series of linked YouTube videos. When the ball stopped they solved a challenge using Google Maps, Search and Translate, Twitter and Last.fm that tested their wits, reflexes and proved the browser’s speed.
