Misereor wanted to raise awareness of war orphans through an intelligent yet blunt treatment of the subject, with the result that the viewer feels moved and is encouraged to visit the Misereor website and make a donation. With artwork reflecting mural style painting by portraying different areas of conflict in the world, the posters show just how war can destroy whole families in a very aesthetic and direct way.
