Although there are a lot of factors involved on the rise of knife crime, the main one is fear. Fear of being unprotected, of having to rely on a knife to feel safe and of not being able to leave that life behind.
Key4Life wanted us to make a difference, that's why we created The En-Lightened Type. A new typography that will battle young people’s fears by bringing light to dark streets and enlightenment to those who read it.
Our typography will create a safer environment and prove to teenagers that knife crime isn't their only option.
Because if we make them feel safe and reassured, they won’t have the need to carry knives.
