India is the fastest growing smartphone market and has welcomed the ease of digital money.
To provide financial services for all, the government provided bank accounts to every household. But millions of these accounts are untouched. This is because of the largely illiterate population, who have restricted use of their own accounts.
At 37% of the global total, India has the largest adult illiterate population, so we wanted to provide financial freedom to these 287 million people.
