Unbelong

Australia claims to be multicultural. As Asian-Australians, we call this our home, yet we don’t truly belong. We don’t fit into the Australian stereotype, we can’t always fulfil the heavy expectations of our Asian migrant parents. 
So, we’re moving out. We are the Unbelong, a family not bound by blood, but by choice. Together we are celebrating a hybrid of languages, cultures and identities. Welcome to our new home; a digital safe space to turn shame into pride and burden into power. We are unapologetic, we are unashamed, we are the Unbelong.
