Sober Words

Despite a fair few words (546 to be exact according to The Guardian, Evening Standard and Wikipedia) for the opposite, there's only one word for "sober." So, we decided to even the score. We asked some lively Brits to help us create 546 new synonyms for "sober", giving it a fresh, fun vibe—. Ascetic, Slibby, Donny, Gold and Clover, just to name a few. Once we had our words, we plastered them across London. Next, came the re-design of our On The Rocks non-alcoholic drink cans. Each one featured a different new word, which could be used as a password for free entry into speakeasies. Finally, we compiled them all into a dictionary, helping Brits work these words into everyday conversations.
