Whether in movies, TV shows, or on the streets of Disney parks, music has always been a core part of the Disney experience. Disney taught us about love and friendship, through anthems that encouraged us to follow our dreams. Just as Disney relies on music to tell stories, Gen-Z & millennials rely on it to make a soundtrack for their lives. To celebrate 100 years of magical music, Disney is going to show adults that they’re never too old to sing along. Gen-Z and Millennials will be invited to nominate and vote for current popular artists to re-record all of their favorite Disney classics with a fresh new spin. A concert will kick off the celebration in tandem with the release of a physical and digital album. A sing along feature + mini documentaries will also be available on Disney+.
