Only 22% of the core Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics workforce identify as female in the UK. 15 is the average age where girls lose interest in these STEM subjects. Why is this? Right now, the school curriculum doesn’t connect these subjects to real world issues. (Microsoft) Teen Vogue, The Case for Her and Touchy-Feely Tech are inviting young women and non-binary people to build their own gender-neutral vibrator and take their pleasure into their own hands. Introducing Own Your Parts, a class taught by trained female and non-binary Science, Technology and Engineering graduates. Knowledge is Pleasure. Time to Own it.
