Through iconography, colour and layout, these abstract forms have been created to represent M.I.A's Grammy performance through celebrating motherhood.The poster is created after the triangle hand gesture made by M.I.A. in the performance, this shape being a representation of female fertility, the 9 layers of imagery created with hues relating to fertility and good luck, the sharp forms created by these triangles convey M.I.A's controversial nature also.The online exhibition piece encompasses the idea of 'development' and as the user turns up the volume, the developing pattern and audio mirror her baby's development.
