Living with hair loss can be an anxious time, especially for young people. Real hair wigs, which last longer, look better and can be styled more easily, can cost thousands. To make it worse, there is a human hair shortage which is driving prices up even further. HairShare is a SnapChat lens that scans your hair into a catalogue of wigs which young people with hair loss can try on with AR and request. HairShare’s aim is to facilitate the donation of hair among 13-21 year olds, while also raising awareness for the medical conditions by sharing their stories.
