The <embedded> movement encourages boys and girls to recognise and challenge the miscoded, misogynistic attitudes that prevent girls from fulfilling their potential. By gathering support on social media using the hashtag #RewriteTheCode, and through the widespread use of the < > symbol, the <embedded> movement will gain an international presence. The movement hopes to change opinion about what is perceived as a 'girl's education' around the world. Through its collaborations, <embedded> will help and inspire girls to access education with technology.
