Crimewatch is great at finding witnesses, but limited by its format. 101 simply removes those limits, and puts the power of their audience in your hands. It’s a smartphone maps plugin that allows you to upload your own appeals and view the appeals of others, based on your location. With 101, Crimewatch can provide a service that reflects the nature and frequency of crime. For every appeal, there will be hundreds of opportunities for finding witnesses. So now victims have an option, and armchair sleuths can keep sleuthing beyond the program. So everyone is happy. Except criminals.
