Where Nature Rules

Nordkyn Peninsula, the furthermost part of Europe, accommodates two municipalities in the county of Finnmark, Norway. A joint marketing strategy was developed for their investment in tourism. Nordkyn offers exotic outdoor experiences in an arctic climate with striking weather conditions. The identity is inspired by the shape of a snowflake and the strapline: ‘Where nature rules’. A feed of weather statistics from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute alters the logo according to wind direction and temperature changes. We developed a generator where Visit Nordkyn can download its logo to match the exact weather conditions of that particular moment.
